Mum Says My Memoir Is A Lie

Rosie-Pod-Art

In 2017, Rosie created, produced and hosted a podcast based on her first book, The Anti-Cool Girl, called Mum Says My Memoir Is A Lie. Distributed by PodcastOne AustraliaMum Says gave Rosie’s mother Lisa the opportunity to dispute much of what Rosie had written about her childhood in her memoir. Each episode of Mum Says includes Rosie reading a chapter from The Anti-Cool Girl, followed by a heated discussion with her mother about its contents.

Mum Says My Memoir Is A Lie topped the iTunes Podcast chart in its first week of release and continued to appear on the Top Ten chart throughout its initial weekly release. To date, Mum Says has been downloaded over 4 million times.

Further cementing its status as a commercial and critical success, Mum Says My Memoir Is A Lie won the 2018 Australian Commercial Radio Award (ACRA) for Best Original Podcast.
